Hello!  Thank you again for stopping by to learn about me and Love’s Little List. My name is Carlee Cash and I currently live in Holly Springs, NC outside of Raleigh.  I grew up in New Jersey, and came down to NC to attend school at UNC, where I majored in business.  Near the end of my junior year (April 2000), I met Jason.  Though a part of our relationship was long distance, we made it work and after 3 and a half years, Jason proposed.  With that, I began planning our wedding and discovered how much I LOVED doing it and the passion I had for marriage. 

Throughout that year, I was touched by other couples we met who were also planning their weddings.  Every bride glows with pure happiness, and there’s a bright and unique future seen in every engaged couple that I get to experience every day now.  I was also encouraged by others who commented on my organization and efficiency.  My brother told me his fiance (then girlfriend) needed me when they were engaged.  You can imagine my excitement when my brother told me they were engaged and they wanted me to be a part of the planning !  Other friends have asked me for help with budgeting, getting organized and research.  Vendors I worked with told me I was a fun and patient bride.  Best of all, I handled our un-welcomed guest (Hurricane Ivan) and was able to reorganize everything in one day.  After all this, I knew that helping other couples plan their day was where I was meant to be and I'm so thankful to do that every day now.

After the wedding, I told Jason about how much fun I had during our engagement.  I considered getting involved in wedding planning; however, I wanted other brides to experience the joy I did by being so involved.  I loved shopping for my dress, bridesmaid dresses, gifts, food, decorations, flowers, cake, rings, etc. and I wanted to share that with other brides.  Jason suggested I take what I learned from planning our wedding and helping friends' plan theirs to start a business that offered the little things (I knew I married him for more than just his good looks).  We put our heads together, came up with a name and started this web-site... I've never looked back and am so thankful for this opportunity!
